Let's cut right to it. Most of us want to be happy, not to worry, and live a generally good life. We expect efforts from self to accomplish these desires yet we do not provide ourselves with the support required. In an era of, "faking it until you make it" most are suffering from discomfort. Presenting in our lives as depression, anxiety, and general displeasure with life. If we want to be our best then we must learn to take and make time to put effort into self.

1. DO THINGS YOU LOVE.

  • Do the simple things that make you smile. I still love cartoons on a Saturday morning. Actually, I just like cartoons. Those intended for children.

2. Eat healthy.

  • We are what we eat. Our bodies require certain nutrients to function properly.

3. Rest abundantly.

  • Our bodies need time to recharge. This is vital.

4. Create personal "I am" positive affirmations.

  • I am affirmations create intentions. Repeating them during the day redirects your energy focusing your efforts for positive outcomes. Creating them to represent your uniqueness ensures you are authentically supporting self.

5. Mental masturbation. Frequently.

  • THINK POSITIVELY. Take the time to think positively about self. Do this frequently. Mental love hugs warm the spirit giving you that love struck smirk throughout the day and we all know its power.

6. Positive interactions only.

  • If it isn't positive it doesn't deserve your energy. We have to be comfortable letting go of things that bring and carry the weight of other situations and people.

7. Supporting Belief system routine.

  • It is not what or who you believe in, it is the belief itself. Belief is a powerful source of energy capable of fueling all things. A routine creates a procedure. Establishing a habit to support things you believe in builds the foundation to believe and support self.

8. Spend uninterrupted time alone.

  • Getting aquainted with self is one of the best things you can do to ensure you are being authentic. How can you be true to self if you don't even know who you are?

9. Constructive positive self reflection.

  • We need to be able to recognize when improvement is needed however we have to make sure that we are not beating self down. Let us remove this negative condition and retrain our mind to create by always coming from a space of love when self reflecting.


10. Ample time with and in nature.

  • Earth is our natural habitat. We need connection with her to balance, recharge, and strengthen our energy. The therapy in the beauty of Mother Nature is soul moving.
